Summer travels with the Hobbs Ohana

It's the middle of July in Mazatlan and we are just weeks out from our next trip to Hawaii. But before we get into that we just wanted to recap what we have been up to over the last few months.

We visited family in Dalton, Georgia

You may remember our friends from Crosspointe Church in Dalton, Georgia. They came down to build a home last year. Dori's sister and her husband are a part of Crosspointe and we had the opportunity to go there and share about Homes of Hope as well as what God is doing in Mazatlan. It was an awesome trip and we had the privilege of meeting a bunch of really awesome new friends.

The boys had a blast with their cousins in Indy

Koa & Noah are at the age where they are really enjoying running around and having fun with their cousins. It is always such a special time seeing the kiddos making memories together and we definitely miss them all so much!!

Ikaika made a quick trip to Maui

The day after we got back from Georgia, Ikaika took off for Maui to do a fundraising event with our base director's at our home church on Maui. It was a great turn out and there are a lot of people interested in coming to Mazatlan to build a home. Thanks again to everyone who helped make this happen!

Summer's in Mazatlan are hot, so in order to escape the heat we sometimes call on our friends at El Cid Marina.
